What’s on your mind tonight? How can we pray for you?

Driving through the fog sometimes resembles how I see my future. I have a place I know I need to be. I have a general idea of how to get there. I may have a map or I most likely have a GPS. It’s hard to see beyond the fog. Visibility is at a minimum and I’m not sure what lies ahead of that tenth of a mile. Sometimes it’s a little scary and there is always the self doubt. But if I follow the GPS I know I can make it to my destination. Let God be the lamp unto our feet. Let God... be the GPS for your life. When the problems and issues in life come like a pothole or obstacle you couldn’t see until right now. Make your way around them. listen for God to say recalculating. Watch for the way around. The best route to your destination is the one God has laid before you. It’s not the easiest route usually. It’s not the straightest route usually. It is the right route always. It’s meant to prepare us for what is beyond what we can see. But God can see it all. He knows what we will need to get through what is ahead. The trials before us are preparing us for our future. Keep in mind, when the Sun shines long enough it burns the fog away. Replace sun with Son and you begin to see what faith can do in our daily lives. Don’t focus on the quick and easy.
