The upside of online CM testing for us, there were many. 1) Students get to bank rep and technique items beforehand, during the 6 months preparation period. 2) they can choose to be done early and start enjoying new pieces and other subjects (improvisation, composition, etc).... 3) No the day of CM stage fright Of course, they will be missing out in the performance aspects. But it looks like Certificate of Merit has changed for good. Our students are going to get the stage experience from other events such as rep class and competitions.
