When I look back, it’s almost hard to believe how fast time has gone by, how many people I’ve met and have had the opportunity to impact. ... Most people don’t know that I dropped out of school to begin with what’s now turned into a business. It was a challenging and unknown time in my life. But all I knew is that I was unhappy and unsatisfied with the direction my life was heading towards. The world has told us that education is the key to success. But it’s left so many with empty promises. I choose a harder/different path. I started my career as a Personal Trainer and put my face in the dirt. Putting in the back breaking work and countless, yet unpaid hours. It takes a certain motherfucker to come out of the corporate fitness industry alive and thriving. I’ve made it. Thanks to an endless support from hundreds of people that liked me enough to allow me into the privacy of their lives. It’s been a great honor to have been chosen and to have served. I’m going to go ahead and ruin my beautifully crafted black and white page to make this statement. Here it goes: Your coach CANNOT do the work for you! ... On average, you spend what, one to three hours a week with them? And you somehow expect that to suffice? Knowledge without application, is still ignorance. Take what your coach has provided and maximize it. I’m speaking out for the frustration most coaches have with clients that refuse to take ownership of their downfalls.
