Help make sure no child in San Francisco goes without a toy this holiday season! We're proud to once again partner with the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program for our annual holiday toy drive, which distributes over 200,000 toys to more than 40,000 disadvantaged children each year. We're accepting donations of new, unwrapped gifts for kids until 12/15 at our main office (741 30th Ave) and the One Richmond office (802 Clement St). We hope you'll join us!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our fall supply drive! These photos only show a handful of the hundreds of school and food program supplies we've received in the last two monthsthe rest has already been put to use in our Community Hubs and distributed to families that need it. Thanks to our wonderful Richmond District community, we're able to help youth and families with the challenges of distance learning, and address the isolation experienced by local seniors during the pandemic. We're so proud to be part of a neighborhood where people look out for one another!

The Richmond Neighborhood Center will be closing operations today (Friday, September 18) and Monday, September 21 in solidarity to mourn, process, and engage in civic action to demand justice for Breonna Taylor, Aja Raquell Rhone-Spears, Elijah McClain, Jacob Blake, and the ever growing list of Black people whose lives were cut short by anti-Black racism. We stand firmly with our Black colleagues, staff, students, families, volunteers and community partners and support the Bl...ack community at large as they mourn these most recent attacks on their personhood. We understand that this is disruptive to our community and we do not take this action lightly. We invite you to join us in our efforts to secure justice for the aforementioned by taking action outlined in the link below, and getting active in local campaigns to defund the police and redistribute their resources to community support services.

Help Richmond District students and families get the supplies they need this fall! The Richmond Neighborhood Center is hosting a supply drive for our youth program participants and food security services. In the world of virtual learning, tangible supplies are as important as ever as students continue to write, create, and experiment from home. https://richmondsf.org/supplydrive/... This supply drive will help us ensure that students have everything they need to participate, and that our food programs can continue to meet growing need in the neighborhood. If you’d like to help out, just head over to our Amazon wishlist and choose from the list of school supplies, art and craft materials, science experiments, and supplies for our food pantries and home-delivered grocery program. And while you’re at it, don’t forget that you can support the Neighborhood Center by setting us as your Amazon Smile charity!
