In response to Governor Newsom’s Stay at Home Order and curfew, some children in the Fort Irwin community were concerned Santa may not be able to pop down the c...himney on Christmas Eve. But not to worry, CSM William Justice confirmed on Dec. 2nd that Santa does, indeed, have an approved ETP. All reindeer are being tested for COVID, are practicing social distancing and are cleared to visit Fort Irwin on Christmas Eve. See more

***DFAC Thanksgiving Meal Update*** Please join NTC and Fort Irwin in celebrating Thanksgiving with a traditional Thanksgiving Feast on 24 and 25 November. *Any... active duty military member can eat in the DFACs on those two days. *DA Civilians, Contractors and Family members will not be able to eat in the DFAC during these two meal periods but their military sponsors can pick up to-go meals for them during the last hour of meal service. Please see the photos for meal options, and dates/times/locations are as follows: -Tuesday, 24 Nov from 1100 to 1400 at DFAC #2 Bldg 271 -Wednesday, 25 Nov from 1100 to 1400 at the Coyote Café Bldg 254 with a special Facebook Live cake cutting ceremony at 1050 -Costs are $9.20 per person for Soldiers who are E-5 and up and their family members. Costs for Soldiers E-4 and below and their Family Members are $6.85 per person. COVID measures will still be in place for seating capacity.
