Californians approve bond measure that will provide $200 million for Salton Sea!! Californians approved the $4.1 billion bond measure Proposition 68 on Tuesday, giving a lift to California’s underfunded effort to build thousands of acres of wetlands around the shrinking Salton Sea.

Proposition 68 will appear on the June 5, 2018 statewide ballot and was created by bipartisan legislation, Senate Bill 5, authored by Senator Kevin de León and ...Assemblymember Eduardo Garica.
