So much noise; sometimes the moments can be noisy and there can be so many distractions. But, just as Jesus calmed the storm he can cut through the noise and distraction. He is peace in the noise and distraction. He is our anchor in the storm. He is the safe harbor into which we can hide. David wrote, "the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved." Jesus said, "my sheep know my voice, and hear my voice." So in the noise and distraction of the mome...nts of today, stay close. Close to Jesus, he is the truth in the midst of the circumstances. As the old hymn said, "place your hand in the nail scarred hand." His voice is the clarion call, calling us to come close, to stand still. Even his still small voice can be heard above the din of the moment. He understands our heart and knows our needs. We can trust our lives, and its moments to him. For, he died to to redeem them.
