In this episode of "RESTORERZ Restoring Our Community" our Operations Manager Eduard M. came across a homeowner with Lung Cancer and serious mold issues. SHARE TO EDUCATE YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ! About 2-3 years ago the homeowner was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and about 2-3 years ago her bathroom was completely covered in BLACK MOLD so what did she do ? She went to her local Home Depot and asked one of the workers there how she should take care of the black mold problem sh...e has in her bathroom and they recommended she cleaned it with a certain chemical they sell. She took the recommendation and took the chemical and rubbed it on her walls with no Personal Protective Equipment. 2 years later a plumber from a plumbing company that we constantly educate about Mold precautions stepped foot into her bathroom and immediately notified her that she should keep the door closed and reach out to RESTORERZ for a free mold assessment. 30 minutes later Eduard showed up for the mold assessment and immediately identified the issue. Since RESTORERZ works with all insurance carriers directly the homeowner decided to file a claim as mold remediation does get costly ! Turns out the homeowners insurance company DID NOT want to cover the claim and she was COMPLETELY DENIED coverage. Since the homeowner was going through constant chemo treatments she had a lot of medical bills and didn't have any extra money to re-mediate her home. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT ?! Eduard reached out to the homeowner and offered to COMPLETELY re-mediate her mold problem for free. Just because we live in a world full of humans doesn't mean that there is humanity as people are always sidetracked of doing the right thing because of outside emotions and feelings and things. We believe for the world to change we must be the change we would like to see in the world so that is why we used our knowledge and power to make a change in our homeowners life.
