Residents are required to call their local Air Quality District prior to burning to ensure burning is allowed on the day of burning. See more

Busy morning for Firefighters. This fire occurred at the same time as the Old Newman fire. #rescuefire, #EDHFire

#RescueFire, EDHFire, #calfire and El Dorado County Fire Protection District contained a house fire that occurred overnight on Old Neumann Road in Rescue. The fire caused significant damage to a two story house. No injuries were reported. The cause was unintentional/mechanical.

#EDHFire is on scene of a house fire on the 2400 block of Telegraph Hill. Crews arrived to find a fire between two homes extending up the side of one into the a...ttic. Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and contained the fire to the attic of one home and the exterior of the second. #RescueFire,#CameronParkFire, #CALFIRE assisted in bringing this fire under control. Crews will remain on scene ensuring that the fire is completely extinguished. All residents escaped safely and no injuries were reported. $1.9 million in property saved. #EDHFire wants to remind you to check your smoke detectors, have an escape plan and practice regularly with your family.
