Question: Did FHA MI go up this week? Answer: It sure did! The Up-Front MIP (UFMIP) went from 1% to 1.75%. The Monthly MIP went from 1.15 factor to 1.25 factor. Translation? ... On a $100,000 purchase, the UFMIP went from $1,000 to $1,750. The Monthly went from $93.40 per month to $102.28 per month. So, are there any other options?
