I can't find anywhere in the bible where it give us reasonable permission and good excuses to miss church continuously, frequently, seasonally. Can someone ple...ase point out specific verses? I can only find verses that tell us to weekly attend each Sabbath, one of God's commandments, such as in Hebrews 10:24-25, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one anotherand all the more as you see the Day approaching." I found where Jesus and the disciples were accustom to attending church each Sabbath as in Luke 4:16, "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read." I also found where Christians met daily together in fellowship in Acts 2:46-47, "With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved" Find a church that meets your time schedule, get planned and be faithful. Church will be a blessing to you for refreshing, receiving, infilling, anointing, equipping and serving. Church means "Ekklesia" in Greek. Ekklesia means "Called out ones". "Called out ones" means we have been "called out" of our desires, our will, our ways, worldliness and sin. You have been "called out" to God, holiness, His Body and His church. You have been "called out" to follow Jesus, be His new creation and live the Born Again lifestyle of Jesus Christ. When we were children, we are asked by our elders "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Our answer as a child is, "Fireman, nurse, doctor, lawyer, dentis...t... " Now let me ask you a question God gave me to ask you Christian, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Your answer should be a higher calling like "Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, etc." 1 Corinthians 13:11, God's inspired Word says, "When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
