Coming around the bend on today's tour we noticed movement up ahead. As soon as we noticed her brown fur, she stood up on two legs to get a better look at us. She quickly dashed into the forest, finding a good place to hide and then stood on two legs again looking ever so curious at us. It was quite a sight to get to see a black bear so close. We were lucky enough to lock eyes and connect to nature's wildlife, if only for a few seconds. ... Photo taken by R.
