Hello Campers! We've received several calls inquiring about the state of the Resort with the recent rains. Boulder Creek was evacuated for a few days earlier this week as a precaution fearing mud slides. Soil erosion from the summer wildfires has everyone on the alert. Luckily, there was no slides despite 10 inches of rain for the week. Whew! This badly needed rain will help the vegetation growth securing the top soil and the mountain side. Living in the Mountains has never been for the faint of heart. Boulder Creek is a resilient town and is back in operation. All is well at the Redwood Resort. Stay safe, healthy and we'll see you in the spring.

Happy New Year 2021!

We are happy to announce that the Redwood Resort was spared from the fire. We thank the brave firefighters for saving our beautiful town of Boulder Creek. Unfortunately over 900 people have lost their homes in this tragic fire. Our hearts go out to them. Boulder Creek is a strong community and will overcome this. Take care and enjoy the rest of the summer safely.

This church is just one block away from the Redwood Resort. Fortunately we are seperated by Hwy 9, which they are using as a firebreak. I believe they saved the church and so far have kept the fire from crossing Hwy 9. Thank you firefighters!!!

Hello campers! Get the charcoal ready, the Redwood Resort campground is officially opening Friday June 12, 2020. Please note that face coverings are required for entering the bathrooms and upon check in. It is important for visitors to continue to practice physical distancing and avoid congregating with people outside their immediate household. Hello campers, Happy Monday May 4, 2020. Hope this finds everyone healthy and well. The campground will be opening per phase 3 of the California's reopening plan. We hope that means sometime in late June or July. It's our best guess. We are taking reservations with a wait and see attitude. The good news is we completed the gazebo over the deck in time for our May 1, non-opening. LOL. Hello Campers! Hope this post finds you well and healthy. It was a dry winter this year in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Lot's of rain in December but not much since then. We're getting some late in the season storms and that's helping out a lot. We are excited that we've completed a deck over the spring in the campground. We're in the process of building a gazebo to compliment the deck. This is project we've dreamed about for years. Gary, our new manager is finishing up his fir...st year running the Redwood Resort and has done a fantastic job. Louise, our reservation expert, is back with us this year. She spent the winter touring all over Asia. What an adventurer she is. As for the campground, we're hoping to open sometime in May. With the current virus situation, that date may change as the situation is fluid. These are trying times for everyone to say the least. Stay strong, we will get past this and before you know it, life will return to normal. We're looking forward to seeing all our regular customers and greeting lots of new ones as well.
