Puff The Bearded Dragon eagerly awaits every students' return! Ms.Mona, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Sharliene, and Ms. Giselle take turns visiting the empty classroom to check on him and make sure he continues to be fed delicious home grown veggies from the school garden as well as a healthy amount of crickets and worms from the pet store. Here is a photo of Puff getting some sun and relaxing! Lizards like Puff are reptiles which means they control their body temperature through sunlight. The warmer the sun the more relaxed and cozy Puff feels! Stay safe, stay home everyone and remember to relax and be cozy like Puff!

We are a neighborhood school that values play based learning. Our outdoor environment is rich in nature and sensory experiences. We focus on social skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Our graduates have gone on to successful learning careers in private and public schools.

The mission of Redwood Village Children’s Center is to provide quality early childhood education for our community of learners and their families. We provide a developmentally appropriate environment in which children are engaged in wonder, creativity, imagination, exploration and empathy. Our goal is to inspire and nurture children’s relationships with others and to embrace and encourage competence and self-reliance. Through our nature-rich environment, we support curiosity and encourage children to make decisions and to work towards their own solutions. We are cultivating an environment where children will later not only be able to provide the correct answers, but will be able to provide the questions that will spark new innovations.
