Red Wing Through the Ages In the early days of the Red Wing Shoe Company, traveling sales teams would hit the road and sell our products across the country. In the first photo from 1922, sales rep Harry P. Williams sits in his 1914 Ford Model-T, which he drove over 150,000 miles during his 34-year career. The second photo shows sales rep Knute Johnson with what may have been the first mobile shoe store. In the 1940s, he pulled a trailer around with display shelves for his foo...twear.
