Dear Patrons, After careful consideration and the active monitoring of the developments related to Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have come to the conclusion that we must cancel Redding Fire Festival 2020. We know how powerful an uplifting event can be to a hurting community. However, the health, wellness and safety of our participants, patrons and extended community is our top priority. At this point, a postponement in 2020 is not an option. Our decision to proceed or cancel w...as not made lightly. We understand the frustration and disappointment that will occur from this cancellation and know how important events like this can be to some. Our hearts go out to you. If you have purchased tickets to the event, you may either return them to your place of purchase for a full refund or you may use them next year at Redding Fire Festival 2021. COVID-19 Update- Redding Fire Festival POSTPONED!! Dear Patrons, Vendors & Staff Thank you for patiently awaiting our decision on the Redding Fire Festival 2020. As you know, we have been closely monitoring the developments related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following the advice of government officials, we have decided to postpone the festival. The new dates are Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, 2020. Our new date selection is dependent on the recommenda...tions of the President of the United States, the Governor of California and the Center for Disease Control on nonessential social gatherings. And we will abide by national and local regulations. It is our intention to reassess the situation one month prior to the event if not earlier. At that point in time, we will determine whether or not the event should take place in 2020. If cancellation is required, our vendors, sponsors and ticket-buyers will receive full refunds. As stated in our first update, the health, wellness and safety of our participants, patrons and extended community is our top priority. If we are indeed able to produce our festival as planned we intend on taking necessary precautions to minimize viral infection. Although sinks with running water are already available at the Shasta District Fairground, we will be adding in hand-washing stations. Additionally, our vendor layout will be adjusted to allow for more space between rows and to create a larger audience area to allow for distancing between guests. Please continue promoting and interacting with our festival on social media. If we are going to have to cancel we will need your help with keeping the momentum going into next year. We need your help. Because of COVID-19, we are unable to distribute posters, our booth spaces at local events have been canceled, and our street team has been dismantled. We have purchased social media advertisements, but we rely heavily on word of mouth and our posters and fliers. To make up for these changes to our marketing plan, we need our fans to share the event link and send out invites to their friends. Please help us promote.
