As our club continues to raise funds to benefit the Kids and Youth Mental Health in Shasta County, this week we are graced with a youth leader McKenzie Knighten to speak about the Wellness Center initiative in Shasta High School to cater to mental health needs among their students. Join us!

This Saturday would have been the Shasta Kids and Family Expo already. We’re heartbroken but, you better believe it we’re gonna dream bigger for 2021!

One of the projects the we support is the Camp McCumber Camp for Kids with Type 1 Diabetes. _ For the past 31 years, the Lions of District 4-C1 have been successful at achieving the camp goal of teaching campers they can be like other youth and have fun! Camp is held at beautiful Lake McCumber, just seven miles east of Shingletown in Northern California. _ This camp has been transformational for kids with type 1 diabetes to know that they’re not alone and that they can be n...ormal while learning to manage their condition. _ If you know of a child with type 1 diabetes, share this link! In the last 55 years, the Redding Breakfast Lions Club has served our local community in many ways. _ Some of our focus involves honoring our flag. Here were some of the ways we do it: _ HONORING OUR VETERANS GRAVES... Our club members place flags on veteran’s graves every year in support of Flags and Flowers - a project that Redding Breakfast Lions club first supported as our local young boy Preston Sharp pioneered honoring Veterans’ graves within the Shasta County, and has now grown to honor veterans in 36 States. _ FLAG DAY PRESENTATION Our members visit local schools to promote the significance of the American Flag _ GIANT US FLAG REDDING Supported the Enterprise Lions flag along I-5 In Redding, CA _ DORRIS 30 x 60 US FLAG FLYING 200 ft.
