The REC Center

Beloved students, parents and community. To say this year has been interesting is an understatement. In light of the ongoing uncertainty faced by our community, The REC Center Board of Directors has voted unanimously to suspend all programs and services. In 2012, we set out to enrich communities by providing recreation, education & creative arts programs; especially in communities with limited resources. While we are passionate there is still a need, now more than ever, the ...current situation has left us without a viable means to fulfill this mission. We have decided that it is in the best interest of the organization to allow our community time to redefine normalcy before deciding what our role is within that sphere. For this reason, we have decided to maintain the organization while suspending all programs. We look forward to re-evaluating the needs of our youth and community, at the end of this year, to determine our next steps. Thank you all for trusting and believing in our mission over the last 8 years. We hope there is still a place for us when the waters calm. We miss our students dearly and wish there were better alternatives. In health and love, we wish you opportunities to continue to Shine; now and forever.

Summer is Finally Here!!! Looking for safe yet interactive summer program options? The REC Center has designed interactive virtual classes; enrollment now available online. Each class session is approximately 4 weeks and is offered at just $15 for the entire session!
