Just keep swimming. Wise words for a time of transition As we move through this time of re-entry...instead of focusing on the hard parts (the closed businesses, the lives lost, the countless friends who’ve moved away), we’re trying to notice the things that have emerged due to the pandemic. The flourishing gardens, the street art, the explosion of outdoor activities for folks of all ages are such a beautiful gift! ... As pandemic parenting permits...we’re excited to join the move outside with Recess on Wheels in the month to come. All the details should be out shortly. Til then, Just keep swimming.

What a treat to get to see fields of poppies, at this time when the world is beginning to turn back around! In this moment, we are bound together by the hope of the future, as well as the loss of the past. Recess is looking forward to getting back to it, developing spaces for people to come together, and finally moving away from simply surviving, towards thriving.
