Three major problems: 1. Divorce is unfair. Marriage is suppose to be forever. Divorce is the short end of the bargain. NOT FAIR. 2. You are DIVIDING what was one. Division yields LESS. NOT more. For both! NOT FAIR. 3. Most people divorcing hire lawyers. Not one. but TWO! Lawyers aren’t cheap. NOT FAIR. Essentially, you are taking 100%. Dividing by two. Subtracting by $100,000 or more to pay your lawyers! (Marriage is grand! Divorce? A hundred grand!), and you are left with? If you do NOT have 51% custodial time with your child, you should not claim them on your taxes; unless you have an agreement with the other parent or a court order. If you receive a stimmy, the right thing to do is divide it commensurate with your actual timeshare. It will cost you $$$ to call me and fight about this. Be smart. Work it out. Outside of court. Otherwise all that stimmy ends up going to me.

If I had my way when I was a kid, I wouldn’t be who I am today. - If I could’ve moved back to Iran at the young age of 11 on my own I probably would of. - I did...n’t like the states. I didn’t fit it, I was the only Iranian kid I knew of in Sharon, PA. - Imagine that, it was more comfortable for me to go back to a war-torn country that was constantly being bombed than it was for me, deal with the issues here in my new home. - But my mother didn’t allow for that option and at a young age I learned how to deal with it, even though I was so vehemently against it. - That lesson taught me two things. - People, no matter their age, will cry and complain and sometimes even fight to keep things the same. - But comfort is the enemy of growth. Nothing good in life comes without discomfort and growth. - The second thing is that I learned how to deal with bullies. - I leaned how to channel my emotions around being bullied into something productive. - These days parents are so damn busy keeping they children from any sort of pain that they end up hurting their children. - If a kid can’t learn how to handle bullies in school then they’re in for a rude awakening when they become adults. - Because the world is cruel and adults will bully the weak. - So don’t be weak, and learn how to deal with bullies.
