For days gone by - Auld Lang Syne Let us end 2020, a globally shared emotional year, with grace and the strength of our love to come together --- remembering all who sacrificed saving lives, who held hands and watched too many breathe their last; for the hope of tomorrow, let 2021 bring renewed faith of each other as a community, as it was in Auld Lang Syne. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_6Vs8pADrQ

FIVE STARS --Reviewed by K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite Kelly: Full Circle is a work of coming of age fiction written for young adults by author Tatiana Strelkoff as the third book in The Changer Trilogy. In this dramatic and magical tale, the magic which Jeremy discovered in the previous books has taught central character Kelly many lessons. She utilizes the bond between animals and humans to help people suffering from mental health problems and much more at her animal rese...rve. But when Kelly’s granddaughter Julie falls in with a cause that seems to directly contradict everything Kelly has learned in her life, she has to risk everything to rescue Julie and restore the balance of everything her life has led towards. It was easy to pick up the previous tales of magic and the connection to the animal world through Kelly and her teachings, leading readers into a bigger story about misplaced loyalties, new magical mysteries and the power of love and sacrifice to save others. Author Tatiana Strelkoff paints a beautiful world with her imagery of animals and nature, bringing to life Kelly’s reserve and the deep connection she feels with the animal world. I particularly enjoyed the use of dialogue, which distinguishes the modern sensibilities and differences between the grandmother and granddaughter, setting up the coming of age tale and learning experience nicely. Overall, Kelly: Full Circle provides a strong and satisfying conclusion to a highly engaging trilogy, and I would definitely recommend it to fans of fantasy fiction as well as character-led family dramas. What Readers are saying about The Changer Trilogy, Kelly Full Circle by Tatiana Strelkoff 5.0 out of 5 stars So much to experience and learn in this trilogy Five stars Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2020 Verified Purchase I have just completed the third of Tatiana Strekloff's trilogy series, Kelly: Full Circle. I am an avid reader and am especially drawn to novels that teach me something about other cultures, ways of life, human experiences. Kelly: Full Circle ...delivers in all these areas. Starting with Stelkoff's first book in the series, The Changer, we witness the friendship between a young boy and a First Nation elder, and our understanding of the natural world and the animals that inhabit it is expanded. Although this book is listed as being targeted for young adults, I think that all ages would enjoy it! In her second book, Jeremy and the Crow Nation, I was blown away by the imagery as an adolescent begins to think with the mind of a young adult, and makes hard choices about his place in the world and his efforts to protect animals. There is magical realism, lyricism and poetry in all of Strelkoff's writing, and I often feel transported by her choices of landscape and language. Kelly: Full Circle, brings it all home, and gives me hope for future generations of young people, in the US and around the world. Just as we have witnessed with Greta Thunberg from Sweden, some long-lasting changes to how we interact with the natural world will probably come because of the idealism, courage and plunk of teenagers and young adults. I highly recommend this book as a stand-alone, or read in conjunction with the two that come before it, to parents and educators. This would be a great read for book clubs, Zoom meetings, and as a component to educational teaching around the environment and animal rights. See more
