It’s Monday! This week, #HidingintheEastBay is Livermore, CA. Livermore sometimes gets hidden behind its neighbor city, Pleasanton. And though Pleasanton is desirable for many reasons, Livermore also has its own charm. 1. The Historic Downtown Livermore is definitely one of the highlights of this city. Shops, restaurants, parks, theaters, wine bars, the farmers market, and more make it worth the visit! 2. Livermore Wine Country is a thing! There are over 45 wineries you can v...isit here. Award winning wines without the large crowds and expensive tastings? Yes please! 3. I have to mention the San Francisco Premium Outlets are here because it’s my favorite place to shop. It’s especially nice on a beautiful day. If you can, go on a week day to avoid the crowds. 4. And of course, my favorite part - the real estate! Livermore offers a variety of homes at a variety of price points from well below $1m to well above. Also, lots of new construction here! Let me know if you’d like to learn more!

Concord gets a bad rap, but it’s come a long way and does have nice neighborhoods, especially as you get closer to the Walnut Creek area. 2. It’s one of the most affordable cities in the East Bay. Seriously, check out the houses - updated, modern, even new construction.... 3. Commute into the city with BART running all the way from Antioch to SFO. If you’re not commuting into SF, you can make one switch in Oakland to go toward Dublin or North San Jose. 4. For activities, they have the Todos Santos Plaza where you can enjoy a nice run or picnic. Hike Mt. Diablo and take in all of the gorgeous views! Indulge in food and shopping at The Veranda.
