Who wants to win dinner tonight?!? Maybe it’s been a long day and you haven’t even thought of about it yet.....well, today’s your lucky day! All you have to do is watch my 3 part series on how to make a Traditional Pot Roast and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Homemade Gravy. So, to win dinner, just watch all 3 videos, (they are short ones) like and comment on each video, and then share each video with your friends. You will be randomly selected as soon as dinner is read...y. I’m hoping the winner will be within about 30 mins of Elk Grove or willing to meet me in a parking lot where we can drop of the goods 6 ft apart!! Okay, here’s video number 1 shot last night while i was prepping the pot roast and making gravy. Video 2 will be posted in a few mins, which will show how to roast garlic for the potatoes and cooking the potatoes, and Video 3 will be shot live between 6:00-6:15! Who wants to cook dinner with me this afternoon? We'll be making Sour Cream Chicken with Brown Rice and Pan Roasted Asparagus. Tune in at 5:00 for a FB live to join me in the prep! Here's a pic of everything you'll need to make this for dinner tonight. I included a picture of my crock pot and rice cooker with the ingredients because this recipe can easily be done ahead of time using either or both if you plan ahead, but it's super simple and even faster to cook the chicken i...n the oven and the rice on the stove top. Well, brown rice might be a tie, but regardless, the rice cooker is just too easy, so I'll be using mine for this meal and I'll be cooking the chicken in the oven. Not pictured in the picture are granulated garlic and paprika, both of which will be used on the chicken before we pan sear it.
