It's a lot... My garden was my last lil sanctuary. During the course of the day I would wander outside and simply commune with it. But as the smoke blots out the sun and air quality becomes hazardous to health, I am now further quarantined into the walls of my home... and I AM BLESSED. Because for many of my friends, neighbors and citizens who have been forced to evacuate from their houses such an option does not exist. But even in the face of Covid, loving kindness does. ...As we open our homes to those in need of shelter; give to those in need of food and comfort; we must also open our hearts to the understanding that there but for the grace of God, go I. We have so much in this country. Enough for us all, if we can see each other and care for one another like the brothers and sisters we all are. From that perfect day in Napa with Kami & Jasmine when even their unbridled joy and laughter did not reflect how lucky we all were.

There’s another way that we as human beings have. There’s the way of greed. The way of hatred The fear and ignorance and that’s rampant. But I want you to remember, there is another way....
