We are sad to announce that we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Downtown location. In 1971, Gene Juarez opened his first salon in Downtown Seattle, t...he city’s first contemporary fashion salon. A second soon followed inside the flagship Nordstrom. The standard of excellence set at these early Downtown salons fueled the growth of our brand, which now serves communities across the Puget Sound. Since opening in 1998, the Gene Juarez Downtown location we say farewell to today has served tens of thousands of loyal guests and employs some of our most talented artists. Though we are closing our doors, the strength of Gene Juarez Salons and Spas has always been in the skill and care of our talented artists and caring support staff who will continue to serve our guests across our nine remaining locations. As with all things art and fashion, change is inevitable. While our next Seattle footprint is yet to be determined, we look forward to continuing our legacy of artistry and service for decades to come.
