Looking for a mechanic and pilot car driver. MECHANIC Must have experience with late model class 8 trucks and semi trailers. Including maintenance, repair and troubleshooting. Including but not limited to, engine repair, after treatment, air systems, drivetrain, brakes. electrical, Must have a sense of urgency!... Must be organized, clean, self motivated and able to delegate own work load. Building bridges! When your supplier fails to deliver, who do you call R.D. REED HEAVY TRANSPORT. The North Coast Corridor project turned to us when the supplier could not get trucks to meet the project tight schedule. Problem was supplier used up so many days of the schedule trying to cover the loads with no luck, so when presented to us, we had only 5 days to move 32-100,000lb concrete girders all the way from Bakersfield to Cardiff By The Sea, NO PROBLEM! Done and done ON TIME!!!

We are thankful for having the best team in the industry! And here is a perfect example, Heavy Haul Paul hauling a 988 on Thanksgiving Day! One of the biggest Rock Quarries in San Diego had both its big loaders go down late yesterday afternoon. No loader, no production, the rock plant is literally at a stand still until we could get them another machine. Our office was able to get the permit and reach out to the drivers and several of them volunteered to work on a day most everyone has off. That shows the commitment and passion to take care of our customers! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL FROM R.D. REED HEAVY TRANSPORT!
