The Library mourns the passing of science teacher, principal, superintendent, college president, community college district board member, and former Redwood City Library Foundation board member Tom Mohr. Our hearts go out to his wife Sandy and the rest of Tom's family. Tom was a brilliant, inspirational educator and administrator, as well as a truly compassionate and humble human, and he was a tremendous champion for literacy and learning. For over five decades, the youth of San Mateo County benefitted from his passion and his knowledge. Rest in peace, Tom.
