What is the difference between volume and classic lashes? Both classic and volume lashes are individual lash extensions. Meaning only one lash extension or one volume fan is applied to one natural lash. These are completely different from cluster lashes! - Classic lashes (first picture) are applied one by one to each natural lash. Classic lash extensions are 0.15mm thick and come in various curls and lengths. These lashes are the most natural I looking extensions you can get.... - Volume lashes (second picture) are still only applied to one natural lash, there are just applied in volume fans. One fan per one natural lash. Volume lash extensions are 0.07 mm thick, meaning we can put multiple extensions on one natural lash and cause no damage. Volume fans can have anywhere from 2-8 lashes. Which means volume lashes can be as natural or as dramatic as you wish. - Cluster lashes are applied to your lash line, stuck to multiple lashes (instead of one natural lash like individual lashes),are very heavy and cause a ton of damage to natural lashes. I get a lot of questions about what adhesive I use so I thought I would do a quick post about it! I only use @lashmakers pure bond adhesive. This medical grade glue is clear, only has 2 ingredients and dries in 2 seconds! There is also no ink in it (meaning less possibility for an allergic reaction) but don’t worry it dries clear with no white residue. It will last you through any vacation because it holds strong through pretty much any humidity. I also can’t live without my 117 & 115 tweezers, they make volume lashing a breeze!
