Hi all, Rebekah here! I’ve been a little quiet here on social media as it’s been such a busy time! We made the announcement to close the spa on 4th a few days into 2021 amidst the last month of our commercial lease. So, to say the least, January was a full month. Now that everything has subsided and we have officially closed and moved out (I know, such a bitter-sweet time!), I wanted to post to connect with everyone. First and foremost, I am grateful for the response I was m...et with when we announced. Thank you so very much for all the positivity and encouragement over the last month. It truly meant so much. Moving onward, I had a few things to share This Insta acct will be changing form as the business does. I hope you’ll follow along and remain connected for what’s next! I’ve been working on a new treatment space at my personal residence, and will be open to take appointments part-time very soon. Send me a DM if you have interest in getting on by books when I open them! If any of you are holding gift cards with a balance or vouchers from the promo we ran last July, please send a text to the spa line on how you can redeem those. Speaking of gift cards, our online shop is somewhere you can always spend gift cards, and I plan to be building upon the online shopping experience and what is carried there soon. Many of you have been asking about the glow kits! I do plan to bring those back and am thinking I’ll have a new kit designed just in time for Spring. As things are opening back up, maybe you’d like to see a service provider that you loved from RB... You still can, and I would be happy to put you in touch with any of them! For the next month or so, this account will remain quiet for a little longer. With having just wrapped up the lease and such a stressful season of life, I am taking some space for a nice big exhale and a focus on my own wellness. Be back soon though! Thank you 4th Street for nearly four wonderful years. We are sadly saying farewell to our little spa here and moving onward A note from Founder + Owner, Rebekah: Well, we are here, the day I have known was coming for a little while. The fact of the matter is that we have been closed for the majority of the past ten months. It’s been a very challenging time and there is still a lot of uncertainty ahead.... Today, I am in an entirely different place than I was four years ago. My daughter, Willa Rose, turned 14 months just a few days ago and she was a true ray of light all throughout 2020. Once, we are on the other side of this pandemic, it would take a lot to get back on our feet here and I don't have as much of myself to give in this season of life. With that said, the lease is up here at 2630 East 4th Street next month, and I am choosing to not re-sign. It’s been such a tough call to make, but it’s the right one and I am looking forward to the new possibilities that open up from here. I will continue to maintain and curate RB’s online shop and I am working towards creating a treatment space at my residence where I can still do what I love. I feel a deep gratitude for the experience of opening in Long Beach, for those that walked through our door and continued to come in again and again, entrusting our team with their skincare and wellness. I am thinking of the talented women that worked here and how they each enhanced the experience we provided, all of the relationships formed between staff and customers, and the kindness and community feel within this neighborhood of businesses. This little shop and the years here hold so very much.
