9-15-20 Update 24th Annual West Cost Monster Truck Nationals. After working collectively with the Tehama District Fairgrounds, the Red Bluff Tehama County Chamber of Commerce and the Red Bluff Round Up, we announce with much sadness that there is no path forward for us to present the 24th Annual West Coast Monster Truck Nationals in October of this year. We met with the Tehama County Department of Health and submitted an extensive Covid -19 Exposure Control Plan that include...d reduced attendance, a possible date change, temperature screening, social distancing and mandatory face coverings as some of the protocols to attend the event, but to no avail as we were denied a variance to have the event go forward due to the guidelines put in place by the State of California banning large outdoor events. This is truly a sad outcome for us and our local community, fans and sponsors. Having said this, we sincerely want to thank our many loyal fans, sponsors, and volunteers, many of you who have been with us for the past 24 years. We also especially want to thank Dave Gowen of the Red Bluff Tehama County Chamber of Commerce and James Miller of the Red Bluff Round Up and Mandy Staly of the Tehama District Fairgrounds, for helping us fight to try and produce the event this year. This Covid-19 Pandemic has greatly affected our way of life here in Red Bluff, the North State and the entire world and we don’t know what the landscape will look like when this all ends. This event was started in 1997 for no other reason than to bring something good to our community. We will do everything in our power to again be able to produce the WCMTN the first weekend in October 2021, keeping the tradition alive in our little town. August 2020 West Coast Monster Truck Nationals Update. The COVID-19 Pandemic continues to unfold and have a devastating effect on our local community and way of life. We are continuing to work with the Tehama District Fairgrounds as well as, County and State officials to do everything in our power be able to safely bring Monster Trucks to you this October. As COVID-19 guidelines continue to change we will hopefully be able to announce our full plans for the event in the next few weeks. We encourage people to monitor there health, wear a face mask and social distance and if you have underlying health issues please limit your public exposure.
