Here, 50 years ago, is the ranchland that will soon become Rancho Murieta. Jackson Road is on the right. In the foreground is the North property and the South is beyond the Cosumnes River in the background. I came upon this photo recently, but reaching old-timers hasn't yielded answers. Can we crowd-source this thing? The landmark numbered 1 is the old highway bridge over the Cosumnes, now called the Yellow Bridge (it was then rust-colored). I believe the structures marked number 4 are the Bridge House Inn, which was torn down long ago. Can you confirm what structures are numbered 2 and 3? One of them, I would guess, is Jack Granlees' ranch.

Has anyone else been getting calls from "the Social Security Administration?" In one they were calling because someone had stolen my SS; in the other they were going to arrest me for doing something illegal with SS. A scam. Two calls in five minutes!
