Many were of such high quality that the judges had a hard time deciding. Thank you to all who participated in this year’s program. Congratulations to our wonderful artists! Artwork and literature are still on display in the library for a short time.

NEWS! Reflections Artwork is now on display in the Rancho Buena Vista High Library from now until November 2nd.... Come and check it out! Literature entries will be on display Oct. 29th- Nov. 2nd. All RBV winning entries will be announced on October 30th. The winning submissions will move up to the Vista Unified Council for further judging on Nov. 6th. ~~~Thank you, Longhorn artists for your entries!~~~ We received 15 pieces of Visual Art, 5 Photographs, and 12 Literature pieces altogether. The Visual Art and Photographs were displayed along with other art from RBV at the Vista Festival of the Arts on October 20th. Thank you to Caroline Nuckowski, Olivia Munoz, and Gustavo Cartagena for helping out!

This year’s Reflections Art Program is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and it’s waiting for your entry! Theme for 2018-19 school year: Heroes Around Us... RBV Due Date: Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 Reflections is the annual National PTA arts showcase and competition that offers you an exciting opportunity to SHARE YOUR TALENTS in the areas of: Dance Choreography Literature (Story writing/poetry, etc...) Photography Film production Music Composition Visual Arts (On canvas, or 3-d creations) Have you been looking for a good excuse to show off your skills? Here's your chance! This year's Reflections theme is Heroes Around Us. What is a real hero, according to you? Who in your life stands out in your mind when you hear the word, hero? How would you share your thoughts with us using the media above? Entry forms and instructions can be printed from the PTSA section of RBV's website (https://rbvptsa.org/), or obtained in Room 338 (Mr. Disney), and must be included with each piece of artwork to the marked box in Room 338 by October 3rd.
