Correction, it’s Saturday, May 29! I haven’t had my coffee yet

As we prepare for the extended weekend let us remember the men and woman who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms big and not so small. I prepared a small gift to place beside my dads headstone to honor his sacrifice. My dad developed Parkinson’s later in life and it was determined by the VA that the exposure to chemicals during the Vietnam war was the cause of his terminal diagnosis. My dad was a true family man. He was Clark Griswold taking a side trip to see... the biggest ball of mud just to spend more time with his family. His long driving routes to and from places drove me crazy but, that’s what I miss most. Here’s to family and sacrifices! Be safe this Memorial
