After his swimming lesson yesterday, Ralph E. tried out his new sailor suit.

Here's my he-man in his lumberjack clothes. I have to tell you, I used to make fun of people for putting their dogs in clothes (right, Neal Mayer?) but when he goes out for a walk in his wheels, he has to have his legs covered so they don't rub against any metal parts.

Someone on Craigslist had a doggy playpen for sale for $25. Now Ralph E. can sit outside in the sun and bark at nothing!!!

This little guy is my hero! He seemed apprehensive at first, but then he really got into it! I haven't seen him this happy since his paralysis (6/6/20).

I was working at the computer and listening to the television and Ralph E. was bitching up a blue streak at me about something . . . until I turned the camera on him and he got very . . . well. . . you'll see:

He had been in the harness for about 30 seconds when this began.

NOW we're talkin'! It's all about fashion, isn't it? These came in the mail today: his purple doggie diaper WITH matching suspenders. He does not seem to hate wearing this.

Just got back from the vet. He really didn't seem to have any time for Ralph E. He DID show me the proper way to express his urine, and I will have to get used to having my little doggy pee all over my hand! LOL I'm going to find a vet closer to home (this one's in Escondido and we really have no binding tie to him except that his office neutered Ralph E. and gave him his shots. Martha Jane Weaver, tell me about your vet again! Uriel, the vet's assistant helped me get Ralph E.'s diaper and sweat pants on and a very nice lady in the office gave me four diapers that might fit him better.
