Gathering of the Tribes trophies are done... Who wants one? South Tahoe SUP Series 2016 -presented by- Revive Coffee & Wine... Season opener: Saturday June 25th Location: El Dorado Beach, South Lake Tahoe, CA. On site registration only... 2.5 mile SUP race for all ages and abilities. Team Relay (Le Mans style start) Registration opens: 2:00pm National Anthem 4:20pm Race Start: 4:30pm The race is followed up by the award ceremony and a grand opening celebration at Revive Coffee & Wine/ South Tahoe SUP Entry Fee: $25 (includes a meal ticket)

Everyone, We want to thank all of you for the support you have shown us after we announced the postponement of Race the Lake of the Sky for this year. The messages we have been receiving are heartfelt and they have really touched us deeply. A great number of you have indicated that you have already booked accommodations and that you would still be coming to Tahoe for the weekend of June 25th. So in honor of the folks that have decided to come we have chosen to move our regula...r Wednesday night race to Saturday. This will be a fun race that will finish off at the grand opening of our new location. We are very excited and are looking forward to seeing you all soon... Race the Lake of the Sky Postponed Until 2017 Dear Race the Lake of the Sky Friends and Families, The building that has housed South Tahoe Standup Paddle since 2010 has been sold and the new owner is renovating the property. As you can imagine this has sent us scrambling to find a new location for our retail shop. The good news is that we are moving to 3135 Harrison Avenue, 2 blocks closer to El Dorado Beach.... The demands of moving and the tenant improvements required to establish business in our new location will not leave us enough time to produce Race the Lake of the Sky at the level of excellence it deserves. Therefore, 2016 will be a Leap Year for Race the Lake of the Sky. We look forward to producing the 5th annual event in 2017. The South Tahoe SUP Series is scheduled to return for the sixth straight year on Saturday June 25th, July 30th, and August 27th. More details to come!
