After sunset, shades of purple clouds and an orange sky lingered in the night serving as a dramatic complement backdrop to the fierce fire dancers. In this instance I was able to pull out light from the night sky and well as use the flame as the light source for the dancers. Reminiscing of times running around photographing fire dancing in Costa Rica before Corona-Geddon hit hard. Feels strange thinking back as I had one of the best times in my life and to look at what’s happening around the world now is surreal. I made some incredible friends during the trip to Costa Rica and thankful for them at this moment. It’s a challenging time, but staying connected with friends and family helps bring light into a dark time. Distance doesn’t matter, call, ...text, Zoom, Skype, email, whatever ya got to do...keep connected and your sanity! Ride the waves of emotion and help bring one another up when in the low state of mind.
