National City, February 4, 2016 ~ The #NaFFAA10 FilAmVote Core group had an awesome and productive meeting for the upcoming FilAmVote Launch Press Conference to... celebrate the FilAmPower in voting. The meeting was quite intensive and longer than usual. But it is always nice to drive home coming from a meeting with like-minded die hards. It is a WIN! Stay tuned! ~ <3 MR #NaFFAA10 #FilAmVote #FilAmVetRep Tag: Jr Amor, Andrew Amorao, Aurora Soriano Cudal, Rom Sarno, Ditas Delossantos Yamane, Alicia Ricafrente, Doris Enriquez-Malabad, JR Santos, Dr. Vangie Meneses, Myrna TF Reyes

Last Friday, our EPYC Ambassadors were able to learn about and meet the Filipino American community in Seattle! From a productive workshop on "Preserving Your A...gency" facilitated by our EPYC Program Director, Leezel Ramos, to an inspiring talk about the history of Filipino-American activism in Seattle, our Ambassadors felt energized and empowered. We also had the honor of hearing from Emma Catague and Velma Veloria; the FIRST Filipino American & Asian American woman to be elected to the Washington State Legislature! They ended the day at the "NaFFAA Mabuhay Eagle Legacy Award & Community Reception" to celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of a few leaders from Seattle's Filipino American community, including EPYC's own Leezel Ramos. #WeAreEPYC #NaFFAAstory #NaFFAA #FilipinoAmerican
