If you believe that this change may benefit you, our office offers free telephonic consultations and case reviews, which can be scheduled by calling (562) 396-0319.

USCIS has announced a change to the Civics test, which is part of the Naturalization process. If you file your Naturalization (N-400) application after December 1, 2020, you will be taking the new and updated Civics test. The new Civics test will be slightly more difficult than the current one, since most Permanent Residents will now have to memorize 128 questions and correctly answer 12 out of 20 to pass.

The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled, 5-4, against the Trump administration and has allowed DACA to remain as law! This DACA decision is a temporary win and the fight is not over, since the decision allows for the Trump administration to try and remove DACA again, which we hope they do not do.
USCIS is now reopening many field offices and complying with CDC mask and social distancing requirements. As a reminder, since the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, any field office is subject to closure at any time and cancelled appointments will be automatically rescheduled via mail.
