Get proficient at the barbell hip thrust. Glute strengthening and training can help save your back and better prep your body for everything - don't neglect it just because you don't see everybody doing it. How are you going to be efficient with your body and power production when the biggest muscles you have aren't trained and efficient?
Drive with the legs and glutes. Use shoulder stability and lockout strength to catch.
