This sweet girl is Nova or November. She was turned into Plumas County Animal Services by a land lord whose tenants moved out and left her behind. Animal Services worked to get her health and weight back and sent her on to us. When we brought her into PAWs, we discovered life at the rescue wasn’t for her. Since then she’s been in a foster home where she’s coming out of her shell but isn’t too comfortable with the other cats in the home. In spite of her trauma, she’s a sweet affectionate kitty who loves pets and lap time. We’d love to find a quiet home either as a foster or adoption where she’d be an only cat or possibly just one other cat for company. The adoption fee would be waived for a senior citizen.

Sweet, shy Malory went to her forever home with our new volunteer, Janay Farrar who’s been a wonderful addition to our rescue. She has an awesome way with all of the cats, particularly the shy, timid ones. She and Malory developed a bond during their visits and we’re sure it will only grow as they spend time together. Janay also takes great pictures too!
