While widely considered reef safe, Porcelain crabs should be kept well fed to help insure the safety of your sessile inverts, especially if you feed those inverts meaty meals.

Violet Jellies (like all Jellyfish) should be kept in species specific displays. They thrive on planktonic foods and fish eggs and we have plenty of nutramar foods that fit the bill.

One of the most eye-catching and colorful things you can put in an aquarium is a Tridacna clam. The vast majority of them we sell at this point are aquacultured or maricultured; this means we also frequently see hybrids between these species some of which are even more stupendous than the already eyepopping bivalves we are used to seeing. Successfully keeping clams in captivity takes diligence, it isn't hard, but it is consuming. They need a massive amount of light, gentle (random) flow, very stable calcium / alkalinity levels (nothing drinks your aquarium's Ca and Alk like a clam) and lastly, for full on thriving clams you need a high quality food and Nutramar's line of live microalgae products fits the bill amazingly. #qualitymarine #reeflife #aquariumhobby #invertebrates #clams #tridacna

What's your dream fish? Z gemmatum has always been mine, because they bring the rarity, and the beauty, but also are great aquarium fish. They have a manageable max size of about 8 inches, (though much more likely to be 6 or 7 in captivity) and have the general hardiness associated with the Zebrasoma genus as a whole. Want one too? We have them in stock and your LFS can get them for you, so give them a call. #qualitymarine #reeflife #rarefish #reefaholics #gemtang #aquariumlife #marineaquarium #needit #wantit
