Provide friendly, informative customer service in person and over the phone. Answer multi-phone line, address customer needs, schedule and confirm appointments. Processing payments and manage cash.... Ensure lobby is clean and inviting. Open and close hospital Minimum of 1 year veterinary experience. Basic computer knowledge. Experience with Avimark a plus.

Assist Veterinarians in patient care Check in clients, take medical history, obtain patient vital signs Fill prescriptions... Discharge patients Client education Assist in cleaning the hospital including but not limited to: laundry, floors, taking out the trash and recycling, cleaning treatment areas, exam rooms, kennels, bathrooms and kitchen Answer phones and make appointments as needed Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors Maintain proper documentation Computer skills: Experience with Avimark a plus Proper Animal Handling skills Laboratory running in-house laboratory equipment Digital radiography Venipuncture and catheter placement Medication knowledge and preparation Surgical Assistance surgical suite and post-operative recovery of patient Hospitalized patient care Client communication both in person and over the telephone Client Education both in person and over the telephone Dental cleaning and procedures Strong Communication skills both verbal and written Exam room assistant collecting pertinent patient history, physical examination and client education
