If your Jiu-Jitsu school doesn't have this equipment within its walls then you are not training at a fighting school. At the Carlson Gracie Indio/Python Jiu-Jitsu school our priority is fighting. We are open for new enrollments so if you don't mind the heat and are willing to train hard then come check us out.

Saturday morning training

It's already 99 degrees in here this morning.

From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (range: 8868-18,306) in the United States due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus. I don't remember anyone closing down events, people buying all kinds of shit paper or bottled water. Don't remember CNN stating this was Obama's fault. You think maybe all this hysteria is because Trump is president and we are ...close to an election where there is a good chance he would win. Is it because he draws in multitudes of people in his rallies. Think about it folks....don't believe the hype. Remember the Swine Flu didn't scare most folks so don't let this strain of flu scare you. You should always wash your hands after you touch things that are exposed to the public and avoid people who are sick.

At the Gracie Combat School (GCS), you won’t be wearing spatz or a Gi. You won’t be inside a nice air-conditioned building. You won’t be greeted with a fake smile and dry humor. Instead you will be wearing BDU’s, long sleeve shirt and boots with your vest and duty belt stranding by. You will be outside in all types of weather. You will be exposed to foul language and yelling and when you fuck up you will know it because someone will let you know. Our goal is to provide the m...ost realistic training possible for law enforcement officers. If you have worked the streets or prisons, then you are aware of what is out there, and you are also aware of what could happen if you are not properly prepared for it. "To prepare for violence you must train with violence."

New project. I'm tired of seeing useless defensive tactics being taught to law enforcement. Over the years I have seen training companies put out garage programs for law enforcement. Techniques must be put through "Pressure Testing" i.e. testing them against resisting partners. Most DT techniques are believed to work based on theory and not fact. My motto "To prepare for violence you must train with violence."
