Tomorrow, June 2, we are following the music industry in observance of Black Out Tuesday. Business is anything but usual, and it’s time to hit pause. Tomorrow all virtual classes will be cancelled. If you are exhausted, take the time to rest and re-center. If you feel lost or defensive, take the time to self-reflect and open your heart, ears, and mind to the voices of those in pain and screaming for change. If you are ready to push forward, turn off the news and social m...edia and start your new book, podcast or documentary on anti-racism; search for organizations you can donate to and petitions to sign; begin the tough conversations with the people close to you. Change does not come from a single post on Instagram or Facebook or from one week of outrage. Change comes from incremental work and constant self-reflection over time and it starts with awareness and education. Hi Pure Barre Fam- Thank you all so much for your support and exuberance over our Live Streaming classes these last two days. We unfortunately must notify you that due to Governor Newsom’s and Mayor Garcetti’s executive orders to Shelter In Place, we are no longer legally able to have our staff come in to host our live stream classes. Due to this, our 7pm livestream this evening will be our last for the moment. We will be going through and freezing all memberships until Apr...il 19th as well as extending the expiration dates on all class packs. Please stay tuned as we hope to resume live streaming whenever this order is lifted in the case that the businesses must remained closed at that time. Hi Pure Barre Fam- . As many of you may have heard, Mayor Garcetti this evening ordered all Los Angeles gyms and fitness studios to close as of midnight. . Due to this, we have decided, with heavy hearts and much pain, to close Pure Barre Pasadena as well to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We pray to reopen April 1st as planned with our Downtown location... . But please note, we will be kicking off our personal Livestream this Wednesday! The current health situation has turned into an hour by hour and minute by minute evolving situation into very unfamiliar territory for all of us. Both Willie and myself are working around the clock to ensure that we can provide you, our strong community, with something familiar during a time of social distancing to combat the unfamiliarity and uncertainty we all are experiencing. .
