Lathe her down and make a move... My father bought this beautiful lathe from a man named Frank Desmond once he was too old to operate it anymore. He had built the bench himself, including a drawer with a million little compartments custom for each of the tools needed for the lathe. My dad has now passed it onto me, and I’ll be using it until I’m too old-I hope someone will cherish it after me even though these machines are slowly becoming obsolete in the tech saturated world.... I’m so thankful to have this treasure, my fathers knowledge passed down, and now to be learning by my biggest mentor and business partner, Steg. Anything you dream up for us to fabricate, know that it’s done on American machines with American tools that Steg and I have had in our families for generations.
