IRS has extended the tax filing deadline from April 15th to a new date of July 15, 2020. Amid the COVID-19 situation they have made this decision which gives everyone extra time to file their tax return. Stay tuned for any updates. The IRS announced today that anyone who owes income taxes has to pay taxes has until July 15 to pay their balance. The tax filing deadline is still on April 15th. The extension is for payments of taxes only and any balance paid by July 15 will not accrue interest. This applies to individuals and corporations. We hope everyone is keeping safe through the situation with COVID-19. As of now, we have no update from the IRS regarding any closures or shut down of their offices and tax return processing. This means that we can still prepare returns for clients via our cloud tax software. Any communication can be made through phone, text, email or through here. So if you need to do your taxes rest assured we can still help. For now we are only accepting payments through Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay or credit/debit card. We apologize for any inconvenience.
