Many folks have asked me about 8mm and Super 8 film lately wanting to know how many feet they have. Since I charge by the foot after the first 50 here is a brief explanation. So just a quick update as I have VHS decks in being serviced. I have changed the system in which I do VHS and VHS-C transfers. One system works really well on one computer but not another. I have found one that works well on all. So now I will have two computers working on transfers as well as the stand alone 8MM film units. While my two primary units are in being serviced I will only have one VHS deck running for the next several weeks. I apologize for the inconvenience. One other method of delivery that is not mentioned in the graphic is the Cloud. I can also transfer to you via DropBox or single tape projects I can post to Vimeo for you to download.

Well it is time. I sent the first of my two workhorse SVHS machines in for a refurb. They haven't seen much use in recent years but now with the surge in transfers it needs to be done. With the refurb job will be improved color and cleaning of the tracking system. I would have done it ages ago but I never thought I'd be using them again til now. Each machine will be about $700 but they will be actually better than new as the components being replaced are better than when it was built. So VHS transfers will be delayed a few weeks I am still working on 8mm film and 8mm video as well as Mini DV transfers.
