Today is our are pick up, art sale. If you are an artist who wants to sell work, come by and set up. If you are an artist who needs to pick up art work from our studio, this be the time. Otherwise we are just hanging out and packing up the studio. 4040 Easton Dr.

As we work on moving out of the location that we’ve called home for the past 9 years, we would like to thank everyone that made our residency special. On April 24th starting at 2pm we will host a small pop-up as a last event. Please be respectful of everyone’s health concerns. We want everyone to feel safe. We will be wearing our face coverings. We are expecting a smaller event. Feel free to message us with questions or to let us know you plan on setting up. We will try to respond as we can.

Artistic Protest Black Lives Matter Sometimes, we just need to listen. There are voices of pain that want to be heard, that want to be understood. That path to healing can be a long and winding road, but if we don’t move out of the way, if we don’t let the conversation begin, then it is an impossible destination to reach. For those of you who take the artistic path to communicate your hurt/anger/rage, we would like to hear what you have to say. For the month of June we will... be open to visual art and creative writing submissions that deal with matters directly related to the Black Lives Matter movement. Maybe it is bringing life to a forgotten name, or a means to emotional peace or catharsis through expression. Whatever it may be, it is clear that there are voices needing to be heard and we want to offer a path. For anyone wanting to participate, we will take open-ended submissions through the month of June. You can message us via email or social media. We will post what we can in a dedicated album here on facebook and see where else we can share. If there are enough entries, we will put them together in a publication that can be downloaded for free. Bear in mind, we are a limited number of volunteers with limited time, so we will do our best to answer questions, organize and take submissions and we will clarify details as we go and think more about this project. Some of you enjoyed the Al Wadi performance during our Halloween art show a couple of years ago. Today you can enjoy their free sound bathing event at 4pm.

We are hosting this event tomorrow for Zachary Smith's novel release. If you missed The Get Down Art Show last weekend, you will be able to see a lot of the artwork from that show during this event.

Heeeeeeyyy. So, we've been brainstorming for the new year and have some ideas we are going to try to get to soon. We will be posting more info in the next few weeks. We hope everyone has been in a good creative flow so far this year.

Hosting girl scouts art tonight!

Novemberween begins today as we set up for our annual Halloween art show happening November 2nd at 5:30pm. The Get Down Art show X: Circo De Oh! Le will feature 16 artists, 4 performance artists on the mini-outdoor-stage, and several vendors selling art books and more. Entrance is free, but donations are appreciated. Buying an optional ticket at the event will give you tickets for a free drink, games, and to enter our raffle. The whole event has been put together by local volunteers and artists coming together to celebrate local art. Again we'd like to thank the Psychiatric Wellness Center for joining us during our Invisible Art show and providing support information for mental wellness. Today they have their community Suicide Prevention Walk until 1pm.

It's that time again. Project Oh! White Out has begun. We will be closed this month while we focus on rest and catching up on any remaning projects. And again, thanks to everyone who conrtibuted, supported and participated in all of our projects this year. It was a wild ride.

Day #2: Bako Comic Con. Mini NoBot found a charge from a stranger. He’s taking pre-sales for the next magazine for $10.
