We have one hard-working team! Over the weekend, producer Tessa Byford and director Leah Bleich worked tirelessly on script development for a #socialimpactentertainment feature film we are co-producing with Wayfarer Entertainment, and somehow still made time for a quick photo! Both Tessa and Leah were Covid tested before working in the same space.... #filmmaking #film #scriptdevelopment #development #director #producer #filmproduction #femalefilmmakers #womendirectors #femalescreenwriters #latinaproducer #latinasinfilm #latinasinmedia #womeninfilm #womeninscreenwriting #filmhustle #workingweekends #sixfeetapart #sixfeetapartchallenge

This petition we signed as a company has been successful. Data transparency is of utmost importance in the pandemic, and companies like us need to take a stance in supporting science and public health measures.
We're proud to have colored this thrilling short documentary by Hairless Dog Films, across 4,100 miles of distance with live video feeds of our coloring suite. The documentary features Peruvian surfer María Fernanda Reyes and her quest to compete in the Panamerican Games 2019. Viva Peru!
We're proud to have colored and subtitled this spectacular short documentary by Hairless Dog Films, about paralympic swimmer and human extraordinaire, Juan Leon. Our coloring happened remotely from Los Angeles, but we saw this project come together over many months while our co-founder Tobias lived in Peru. It's a stunning story of perserverence and fighting against all odds. Take a look.
Join our co-founder Tobias and community organizers from 5 countries, from Brazil to India, in a conversation about the makers that scaled nation-wide supply networks to produce PPE during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Thanks so much for the kind shout-out, Open Source Medical Supplies ! It was an honor for our team to make this video. For those that haven't seen "Making a Better Now" directed by Tessa Byford just yet - check it out in the article!
When the world ran out of PPE, volunteer makers in 55 countries got to work. This is their story. www.makebetternow.com .
We always think about the social impact dimension - in movies and in real life. To give the protests around #GeorgeFloyd and police brutality in the U.S. an impactful direction, a unified set of demands has to be put forth. The NAACP did exactly that: -A ban on the use of knee holds and choke holds as an acceptable practice for police officers. - The Use of Force Continuum for any police department in the country must ensure that there are at least 6 levels of steps, with cle...ar rules on escalation. - Each State's Open Records Act must ensure officer misconduct information and disciplinary histories are not shielded from the public. Recertification credentials may be denied for police officers if determined that their use of deadly force was unwarranted by federal guidelines. - Implementation of Citizen's Review Boards in municipalities to hold police departments accountable and build public confidence. #WeAreDoneDying If you'd like to learn more about how the current situation can be turned into a productive path of change in policing standards around the United States, join us on a virtual townhall hosted by the NAACP and featuring black leaders from politics, news organizations and the Chief of Police of Minneapolis. #protectandserveallequally RSVP: https://naacp.org/a-nation-in-peril/
National Set Medics has created their own guidance for the foreseeable future of film sets during the COVID-19 era. http://covidguidelines.nationalsetmedics.com In the meantime, we've volunteered our producing skills and continuously tracked global DIY production numbers of PPE for Open Source COVID19 Medical Supplies and are celebrating the crossing of the 7 million mark.
