Our toddlers love using dot markers to color. It also helps them practice their hand coordination, color recognition, and fine motor skills. This week they colored these beautiful and vibrant balloons!

Our Primrose Patch garden is growing wonderfully with the help of our students! Last week they helped their teachers find the weeds that didn't belong and remove them. They took them back to their classroom to examine and explore all the parts of the plant.
This week the students investigated simple machines in relation to ramps. They discovered that the steepness of the ramp affects how far an object will roll and that a push of the simple machine can make the machine roll further. They built ramps out of various objects in the classroom to test these ideas.
This week the Preschool students got to explore painting with magnets! They were able to talk about how the magnet and ball move, do they attract or push away from each other, and what happens if you move the magnet in certain patterns. They also used the ball as a paintbrush to mix yellow and blue paints and see how it turns into green.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Over the past couple of weeks, the students learned all about caring and giving. They talked about what they are grateful for, how and when to say thank you, and the importance of sharing and giving to others. These turkeys are just one way that the students got to implement their lessons into art!
Happy Thanksgiving from Primrose School of Willow Glen! We are so thankful for all of our students, parents, and teachers that make our school so special. We hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.
Check out the student's amazing Thankful Tree! Everyone created their own leaves and wrote what they are the most thankful for. Feeling grateful isn't just for Thanksgiving, but it is the perfect time to help your little ones learn about practicing gratitude.
Fall is in full swing and we want to remind you that next week the school will be closed November 25-27th for Thanksgiving!
